Yoga is for all bodies, and it's about so much more than movements and postures. I practice yoga to feel connected with my breath and body, to learn to sit with discomfort, to process anxiety and because it's an integral part of my anti-racism and anti-oppression work. As a practitioner and guide, it is a beautiful thing to assist groups and individuals engage in an accessible and meaningful practice both on and off the mat. Rooting ourselves in a yoga practice can have immense physical, emotional, spiritual and social benefits.
