Yoga is for all bodies, and it's about so much more than movements and postures. I practice yoga to feel connected with my breath and body, to learn to sit with discomfort, to process anxiety and because it's an integral part of my anti-racism and anti-oppression work. As a practitioner and guide, it is a beautiful thing to assist groups and individuals engage in an accessible and meaningful practice both on and off the mat. Rooting ourselves in a yoga practice can have immense physical, emotional, spiritual and social benefits.
a powerful way to connect with your body, your community and deepen mindfulness practices
Group classes range from gentle and restorative to strength and stamina building. All classes incorporate deep breathing, mindful stretching and pose modifications to make each posture accessible.
