Sarah Dunne Pickrell is an artist, spiritual director and

yoga practitioner based in Kansas City, MO. She lives with her partner and two terriers at the edge of the woods.

ART

Sarah studied fiber art at the University of Missouri, focusing on felting, weaving and surface design on fabric. Sarah still loves fiber, but she's found another love in watercolor and illustration. Sarah most enjoys painting wildlife, pet and home portraits, and creating regular messes with felt, beads, and found objects.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Sarah graduated from the Souljourners three-year Spiritual Direction Training program in 2021. Drawing from Jungian psychology, Internal Family Systems, mysticism and liberation spirituality, Sarah creates space for individuals to engage and welcome their truest selves through conversation, breath, and body awareness.

 

YOGA

Sarah has been practicing yoga for more than 12 years and studied Raja Yoga at Nella Yoga in KCMO, becoming a certified yoga practitioner in 2018. Sarah is committed to radical body acceptance, inclusive practice and yoga as a pathway to connect more deeply with our bodies, our minds and one another. She blends several styles of yoga asana: hatha, vinyasa, gentle, restorative and strength.
